Spring Street Row of the Month Quilt

I have mentioned that I have been working on this new Row of the Month project and it is now ready to go...
It will be $25/month over 8 months and will include all the fabrics for the front and also a binding. It is my own design and we will have a limited number of kits available.
It is currently being quilted and will be back in store shortly :)

We are not CLOSING!

I am so sorry to have to put this up on the blog, but there are some strange rumours circulating that we are a) selling the shop or b) closing down. Neither of these things have an ounce of truth to them. I did mention in my last newsletter that I will be travelling overseas with my husband later in the year, but there is no intention of closing the shop, Lorraine and Michelle will hold the fort until I return. I have no idea how these rumours start so please feel free to spread the truth!

Jelly Babies Book

I have recently finished making a gorgeous little quilt from this book. I used the American Jane for Moda  Jelly Roll - 'Fairytale Friends'. I hope you like it too. :)

Spring Street Row by Row Quilt

Well I can finally tell you about the new project I have been working on over the past few months.
It is a brand new 'Row by Row' of the month Project. I can show you a snippet of it here, with Boris giving it his seal of approval snuggle...

We are currently kitting it up and the first month will be ready to go from March 1st.
 We are taking expressions of interest now though.
It is 60" x 74" perfect for a single bed/king single bed.

William Morris Arts and Craft Sampler BOM

New Flannels are here!

 How yummy are these new flannels from Bonnie and Camille's Ruby range.....
Hmmmm New PJ's for winter or perhaps a raggy quilt!

 These Marcus Bros flannels are so bright and happy, how could we suffer winter blues under a quilt made from these little pretties!

There are also some Tanya Whelan 'Sugar Hill flannels for you too! Gorgeous spots and Roses to die for! They are in the centre of the row....

We have had many more new arrivals and I have posted some of them on my facebook page' The Quilters Corner'  have not yet installed the link but will shortly.
